ABOUT ME
Throughout my career as a Technical Trainer and Instructional Design and Development Specialist, I have learned the ADDIE instructional design model is key to success in creating curriculum for online distribution. The Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation is the framework to produce any type of learning experience.
I have a passion for taking technical-heavy content like medical procedures or aircraft communication systems and packaging it into user friendly, interactive, scenario-based e-learning or microlearning experiences.​

Hexure

As an Instructional Designer, I create and develop training for both internal Hexure employees and external clients. Our client training is both VILT and self-paced e-learning on Hexure's software applications and employee training ranges on a multitude of topics.
As a Technical Training Consultant, I consult with Subject Matter Experts, Product Owners, managers, and key stakeholders to come up with learning needs and objectives for J.B. Hunt's internal software of products.
As Instructional Design Specialist, I created and delivered e-learning training and courses for internal software, safety procedures, aircraft processes, systems, technology, and installation of equipment. In this role, I learned to use adult learning theories and the ADDIE instructional design principles.
As an Instructional Development Specialist, I consulted with physicians and Subject Matter Experts to create continuing education for medical students, nurses, medical students, and physicians. As my first role in instructional design, I learned how to explain complex adult learning concepts clearly.
As Instructional Media Specialist, I created multimedia elements for online learning in the form of audio/video, graphics, animations, presentations, and graphics.
As Videographer, I created educational videos for instructors to use in their online education. I would shoot, edit, create, and produce educational and instructional videos while creating working relationships with faculty.
